Our Festival of Young Performers showcased the growing talents of our primary school students and provided a wonderful opportunity for our young musicians to take to the stage to share their gifts.

Solo performers and ensembles presented a wide variety of musical items, ranging from piano and violin solos to energetic drum performances, beautiful vocal pieces, toe-tapping Ukelele tunes and impressive brass and woodwind presentations.

Each performance highlighted not only musical ability but also the confidence and courage required to perform in front of an audience. Students supported one another throughout the event, creating a warm and encouraging environment where every performer felt valued and celebrated.

"I love my singing lessons with Miss Sparks and the Festival is so much fun. I was super nervous, but then I just got up there and I felt amazing. I just got up there and sang my heart out." - Nella Rose

"I do drum lessons with Mr. McCauley. Playing drums feels good. It feels relaxing. For the Festival, we did drumline and we did a sort of ballerina turn thing and it was funny. Music's a real good thing. It relaxes you." - Hunter

"One of the most rewarding aspects of the festival was witnessing the growth of our young musicians. For some students, it was their first time performing on stage, while others returned with greater confidence and experience. Regardless of their level of expertise, every participant contributed to the success of the event and we are proud of them all." - Mrs Hinton, Music Coordinator

Congratulations to all our performers for their outstanding efforts! We look forward to seeing our young musicians continue to develop their talents and inspire our school community in the years to come.
