Our youngest athletes took to the field for our annual Junior Primary Athletics Carnival filled with running, jumping, throwing and plenty of cheering from the sidelines.

From Prep to Year 3, students put the skills they have been developing into action through races, field events and some fun carnival favourites that involved parents too! The focus of the day was simple: encourage every child to get involved, have a go and enjoy being active alongside their friends.

There were determined faces at the starting line, big smiles at the finish and plenty of encouragement as students celebrated each other’s efforts.

One of the things we love about events at Graceview is seeing different parts of our community come together. Parents and carers joined the fun, while our Primary student leaders stepped in to help our younger students throughout the carnival.

For some children, the achievement was running their fastest race. For others, it was having the courage to join in, finish an event or try their best. Every effort was worth celebrating.
