"WOW was an amazing experience!" - Lolo
Filled with wonder, creativity and joy, Week of Worship (WOW) is a much-loved highlight of our school year with students gathering every day to worship, learn and grow in faith together.
This year's theme, Transformed, explored how God changes us from the inside out, shaping our thoughts, actions and hearts over a lifetime. Through worship, creative dramas, videos and Bible teaching from guest speaker Pastor Mark Sutherland, students learned that God's work in our lives produces beautiful transformation.
"WOW is a place where you can praise, a place to pray to God, a place to learn more about Jesus!" - Koby
This year’s Year 6 cohort did an amazing job leading Primary WOW with heartfelt worship, hilarious skits and videos, and a meaningful drama that helped bring the theme to life. After months of preparation, we are so proud of the courage, creativity and heart they brought to the week.
"WOW gave me lots of confidence, memories and a better relationship with God." - Lolo
"I felt closer to God. The skits were funny and fun. The best part was the songs. It made me feel like God was there and singing with us. During one of the songs, I was telling myself that I was so happy to be at this school and that I'm blessed to be here with my class on that stage and all I could say was... WOW!" - Madi
"I learned about how God loves me so much and how He never stops working on me. My God is not done with me yet! I think WOW gave me an understanding on what the world can do to you but we can always turn to God. The whole experience was amazing." - Hannah
"It was amazing to see the Year 6 students step fully into leadership. WOW created a space to see them grow, some beyond their comfort zones, and really put their own hearts and souls into producing something awesome from their own walk with Jesus." - Mrs Lindbeck
"They were incredibly dedicated and enthusiastic about contributing their ideas and being involved in every aspect of the program. It was such a joy to work alongside them and watch their excitement grow throughout the process." - Mrs Burrett
