Our Junior Primary students, parents and future families came together for a joyful morning of creativity, connection and discovery at this year's Under 8's Day.
Play has as important role in children's learning and development. Through creating, building, imagining, experimenting and exploring, children develop confidence, problem-solving skills, creativity, communication, and friendships.
Children and parents enjoyed creative activities, games, baby animals, face painting and a Teddy Bear's Picnic. Under 8's Day was a wonderful reminder that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are engaged, curious and having fun.
It was a pleasure to welcome new families to share in the warmth, curiosity and connection that we experience every day at Graceview.
A special thank you to Old MacDonald's Travelling Farm and Queensland Police officers for helping make the day such a memorable experience for our children and families.
